SATCOM solution

In next-generation applications that demand high speed and efficiency, III–V compound semiconductors (such as GaAs, InP, and GaN on SiC) have become key materials driving technological innovation, thanks to their high electron mobility, high breakdown voltage, and excellent RF characteristics.

Ultrabandtech focuses on the III–V semiconductor platform, providing comprehensive custom IC design services to help clients achieve breakthroughs in power performance, operating frequency, and system integration.

User terminal

Based on the Ku band, UltrabandTech have developed two ground terminal systems tailored for different orbital regimes: Azhdarchidae for low earth orbit (LEO) satellites and Quetzalcoatlus for high earth orbit (GEO) satellites.

These systems integrate antenna design, RF link, BFIC digital control, and satellite tracking algorithms into a single platform, which can be deployed statically or dynamically mounted on vehicles, ships, or other mobile platforms to enable reliable ground-to-satellite communication.

Long dist. video transmission module

Based on Ku band and antenna array control technology, UltrabandTech have developed a solution that differs from traditional UAV 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz video transmission systems, extending the transmission range from a few kilometers to tens of kilometers. With the larger bandwidth of the Ku band, it enables high-quality video transmission.

BVLOS communication module

By mounting AzhdaeQ on a large UAV, it can communicate with the ground terminal Azhdarchidae via low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, enabling beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) UAV communication and breaking through the traditional line-of-sight control limitations of conventional drones.

UAV GNSS-Denied solution

GNSS-Denied

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is an indispensable source of information for UAV applications. However, there are numerous existing technologies that can jam or spoof GNSS signals, making it impossible for drones to determine their position and complete their planned missions.

To address this challenge, UltrabandTech has developed a GNSS-Denied solution. When a UAV’s positioning system is disrupted, this solution allows it to still determine its own location and continue executing its original mission.
