About UltrabandTech

From Original Aspiration to Future Horizons

More than twenty years ago, a group of pioneers in Taiwan chose a path that was then considered a “niche” — compound semiconductors. The journey was tough, but out of it emerged WIN Semiconductors, a company that carved a lasting mark for Taiwan on the global semiconductor map. Today, the founders of UltrabandTech carry forward that same spirit. Once again, they stand at the dawn of a new era, devoting themselves to third-generation semiconductor IC design—not merely as a continuation, but as a bold expansion to open new frontiers for the next generation.

Why “UltrabandTech”?

The name “UltrabandTech” was born from an imagination of the future.

As wireless communication moves beyond the limits of GHz into the era of millimeter wave and terahertz, the chips we need are not only faster, but also more energy-efficient and more reliable—capable of carrying humanity’s ever-growing demands. What we strive for is not merely to chase the spectrum, but to surpass it—transcending hertz to unlock greater possibilities for humanity.

Our Founding Vision

At the heart of our journey, the founding team often reminds ourselves:

"We are not just designing chips; we are creating the very foundation that will sustain the world of tomorrow."

This vision is driven by our relentless dedication to technology. Yet, beyond innovation, it is fueled by something deeper — a mission to see Taiwan shine once again on the global stage of semiconductors.

Our Vision for Tomorrow

At UltrabandTech, we believe semiconductors are more than chips — they are the connectors between people and the world.

From AI servers to smart cities, from satellite networks to electric vehicles and fast-charging energy, our chips power the pulse of innovation.

Carrying forward the pioneering spirit that shaped Taiwan’s semiconductor legacy, UltraHz Technologies strives to become the torchbearer of a new era — bringing third-generation semiconductors from Taiwan to the world stage.
