DESIGNED FOR MODERN KU-BAND ARRAYS
A natural fit for the
ADI ADMV4680 beamformer.
The ADMV4680 is a four-channel, half-duplex Ku-band beamformer covering 10.7–14.5 GHz. In transmit mode, UTAC3134NQF can follow each beamformer output across their shared 13.5–14.5 GHz range, adding 22 dBm P1dB with more than 45% PAE. Its internally matched 50 Ω RF ports and built-in DC blocks simplify channel-level integration in compact phased-array designs.
Frequency-compatible design option; not an ADI-qualified or ADI-endorsed reference component.

A FAIR, APPLICATION-LEVEL VIEW
Higher efficiency. Smaller footprint.
Compared with the MACOM MAAP-110150 wideband high-power PA, UTAC3134NQF targets efficient per-element amplification for compact Ku-band arrays with more than 45% PAE, approximately 97% lower bias current and a package footprint 64% smaller by area. MAAP-110150 delivers substantially higher output power and wider bandwidth, so the two devices serve different power classes.

MAAP-110150 is a wideband high-power amplifier and is not a direct drop-in alternative to UTAC3134NQF. MAAP-110150 values are typical figures from the MACOM Rev. V2 datasheet; UTAC3134NQF values are preliminary Ultraband specifications. PAE is reported at different operating points: UTAC3134NQF at saturated output and MAAP-110150 at 1 dB compression. Verify current specifications and operating conditions before design-in.
